I graduated with a bachelors in psychology and have been working full time administering cognitive assessments. I believe that this position will help with my chances at OT school. I was recently offered a position at a big name hospital about three hours away doing the same thing. I would have to move for this job, pay is slightly higher, but I would have to cover all the moving expenses on my own which will be pretty tough because I'll have to pay two rents for a while. I just want to do what is best for my chances of getting in school. I've signed up to take classes here and there just so I can be prepared to start no matter what I decide.
Does anyone think working for a big name university hospital would increase my chances of getting in as opposed to working for a small private practice?
