Yes- if you start with a Christmas bonus, you have to keep it up, otherwise the staff will be angry. Also, you can never go down on the amount.

as we know from politics: it is very difficult to get rid of an entitlement.

you have to up your numbers every year, or you will be seen as a villain. i did that for about 5 years, then started to plateau

i decreased the summer bonuses because of covid(and everyone was paid for 40 hours thx to PPP). I will probably decrease winter bonuses too, although i already gave most of them after thanksgiving so they could shop. Depends on how the year ends up.
