How old were you when you applied to Pharmacy School?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't mean to be rude, but are there any older people (36+) in your class?
I don't know yet... I am finishing my undergrad this semesteer and start pharmacy school Fall 2011... we had a couple of older students than me at the interview though

It's not uncommon for an age range of 19-50 of PharmD students...not just the RPh going back to school to earn a PharmD

23 about to turn 24...i start pharmacy school in fall

23 while applying, turning 24 in September, and I think that puts me at 27 when I graduate.

Applied when I was 40. I will turn 41 just before I start the first year this fall.

Applied at 21 🙂
Graduate at 26 (I'm 22 now)

I was 28 when I graduated and I felt really old compared to my classmates. There were a few people who were my age or older but the majority were much younger with only 2 years pre-pharm whereas I had 4 years + work + pre-reqs.

Now that seems really young

I'll probably be 40+ when I apply. So sad... I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I'm game! 😀 👍

I applied when I was 23, starting at 24. I would have started sooner if I had made up my mind earlier 😉

Applied - 22

Currently - 22

When Starting Pharmacy school...still 22; but will turn 23 six weeks later.

27 when I apply and 32 when I graduate.....gosh, where did my life go? I swear I was 19 last week....=/

Applied at 19 and starting in the fall at 20.

Don't be sad. I got in when I am 35, graduate to be 39. I am one of the 3 oldest in my class. My friend's mom got in @ 57.

Yep we have a few "over the hill" folks in my class. 🙂

Late 20s for me, I'll graduate in my 30s. Not exactly what I had planned back in 1999 but hey, whatever.

32 yrs old 😱 still feel young though 🙂

I'm turning 32 on Monday and I start my 1st yr of pharm school in July. I dont feel old at all. Just for all those that are older, we're considered non-traditional students. Which is not a bad thing, just means that we had other things going on our lives that could've prevented us from starting earlier. Good luck to all current and future pharmacy students!
