I recently shadowed a pediatrician and will be shadowing her for the rest of the week. I am currently trying to reflect on my experience, but don’t know what comments I should leave for myself. Thanks!

Please don't send a shadowing letter. You can include all references for shadowing under a single category in your work/activities section (without the need for a letter). If your undergrad requires such a letter it can be used for that purpose. If you applying to one of the (very few) schools that requests a "clinical" letter, it would also suffice...
DO schools seem to like those DO letters, though.

When I journaled about the different experiences, I noted what I saw, what was different about other specialties I followed, and some responses to questions I might have asked the provider. Also anything different or unusual you witnessed. I did not use shadowing providers for recommendation but these journal notes were nice to have to reflect on and to force myself to think critically about what I saw that day.

For your own purposes, if you are keeping a journal or log, 1) What did you like about the physician interaction. 2) What could have been done better. 3) Record an interesting diagnosis if it's something you'd like to read about later. 4) Did anything surprise you.

When entering a shadowing experience in your med school application, no reflection/impact is necessary.
