How strict are schools on the final transcript deadline?

The school I'm attending in Aug wants my final transcript with degree noted on it by May 31. So i head over to the Registrar's office today to make arrangements for it. As I was leaving, I asked approximately when it would be sent and she said JUNE. So I told her how my deadline was May 31 etc, and she completely did not care. She said the dean has to send over a list of people who got degrees and then they send them out. How hard is it to do that in under a few weeks? I mean, my god. 😡 I'm in the process of e-mailing the school about it and seeing what to do. Do you think they will care???

Well some people, like myself, don't graduate until well after that (June 21st 😡 ), so I don't see them being too strict because they know some schools are on different schedules and it may take a few weeks after classes get out to get a transcript. Just give them a call.

i have a hard time believing they'll give you a terrible time extending the deadline for your final transcript.

I still have not turned mine in they just send we a letter every once and awhile telling me to get them in.

Ok, thanks guys. They finally emailed back and said they would accept it late (I didnt think they would reject me just for that, lol) but to send it as soon as possible. I'll just start hassling them June 1 :wink: .
