How to calculate my PCAT score?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There really is not method of calculating your composite score. You see, your composite score is actually🙁 calculated through a set of standards that are unknown to most people. They grade you on how many students in the 1998-2003 years of the PCATs you scored better than.

Buy the Pearsons practice tests (2 for $60), and take them under timed conditions. At the end of the test, you'll get a 20 point range for your projected PCAT score.

OK so how should I use those 20 points to calculate my composite? (just multiply by 5 to get a score out of 100??)

No, at the end of the test, you'll get a score report for the composite and for each subtest. For example, my composite range was 73 to 93, so I'm assuming that the lowest score I can make on the actual test is a 73, but the highest is a 93. It's not exact, but I would be thrilled to get a percentile even on the lower end of this range, and it was great going into the test knowing where I stood.

Ok so did you find the actual PCAT questions similar to that of the practice test?
And how'bout your score on PCAT was it similar to what you got on the practice test?

How can I calculate my PCAT score for each section?I know how to convert scores to percentile, but I don not know how to calculate the score by numbers of correct and incorrect answers for each section.

If you got 18/20 then it will be 90%. There is no way to calculate to get it to represent the pcat scores. What I would aim for is getting least amount wrong and not focus on the numbers.
