I'm a little confused about how to enter my year in school on AMCAS. I am graduating in three years instead of four due to accumulating credits through dual enrollment and taking the max amount of courses allowed some semesters. For AMCAS, do I put my class standing in chronological order (which would just be freshman & sophomore since I just completed 2 years of undergrad) or by credits, which would be freshman, sophomore, & junior?

Courses for a Bachelor's degree earned in three years should be assigned statuses of Freshman (FR) , Sophomore (SO), and Senior (SR).

Read through this before proceeding IMO.
Thank you! That's super helpful.

I'm still kind of confused though..does that mean I'm listing my 1st year of college as freshman, by 2nd year as sophomore, and then my 3rd and 4th year (planned courses) as senior?

Based on what you said I thought you were not having a fourth year.

If you are completing college in three years and have only done two, then you list freshman and sophomore, with planned courses as senior.

Yeah sorry, I mis-typed. I'm not having a fourth year. This makes sense now, thanks!
