How to find out what batch you are and does that matter?

I submitted my app in mid august and aadsas just got my DAT scores. What batch does this make me? What does the batch mean?

There are multiple threads out there regarding batch number. This Friday is the 12th batch. If your mailing date isn't posted, then your batch will be next week.
