how to increase speed without compromising accuracy

I took my first TPR free diagnostic exam today. It's patterned after the old MCAT - paper-based, designed to be taken 8am-3pm with breaks.
I did not finish the Phys and Bio sections in time. 18 Qs unanswered in Phys and 19 Qs unanswered in Bio! (Argh! So frustrating.) Oddly, I finished Verbal with about 5 mins left.
My scores are 10VR, 10PS, 9BS. I'm not sure how I feel about that at this point. (Eh, it's probably ok considering the 37 questions I didnt even get to guess at.) What Im sure of though is that I'm moving way too slowly!!!! 🙁

How do you hit that perfect place between speed and accuracy? Please share tips if you have any.

wow, is it just me or is the curve on the old tests REALLY REALLY generous?

I think it IS generous. I wonder if they factored in fatigue due to the length of the test 😛
