How to list current research on app

Hey guys and gals,

This question may have already been answered, but I couldn't find a thread. For the upcoming application cycle, how would I list summer research? I officially begin on June 1st, and will be applying on or around that date. Thanks!

Per the ADEA AADSAS Application instructions, 2018.

Q: I haven’t begun my experience yet, but plan on doing so soon. Can I report that?

A: No, you cannot report “planned” experience. Once you have accumulated the experience, however, you can add new experiences to your application, even if you have already submitted it. Please note you cannot edit experiences which have already been entered. You may send updated information directly to the schools to which you are applying.

Note: experience in this context includes the categories of research, academic enrichment, dental shadowing, employment, extracurricular activities, and volunteer.
