How to list shadowing on application?

Hi,

I have shadowed a few doctors. Can I group my shadowing hours under 1 experience? And how do you pick a start and end date for shadowing different doctors?

Also, if I have my name on an abstract for research that I did, do I list that under "description" for that experience?

I separated my shadowing experiences..

Personally, I grouped mine based on the department (Emergency, Ophthalmology, Palliative/Geriatric Care). |Start Date: First Physician I shadowed| End Date: Last time I shadowed if not going again) or continuing.
Description: Just started very vague (Outpatient/inpatient), location, then slowly went more specific as in patients you see (older/younger, chronic/acute), and then mentioned specific procedures I witnessed (If you are unsure, just text and ask. It would look better for your doctor to think you are stupid than ADCOMs)
