How does one pay for med school if federal loans aren't enough and your credit sucks?

You can get cosigners for private loans. You can go through one of the military or national health service programs. Borrow money from friends and family. Etc. The financial aid office should be able to help you figure out what opportunities are available. It's probably quite rare for the school to kick someone out because they can't pay...they'll find a way to get the money if you don't mind paying it back later in one form or another.
