how to prepare for an interview..

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There is absolutely no excuse for being under-prepared for the the basic questions that you know will be on there "why do you want to become a dentist? Why this school? What do you do with your spare time? etc." I gathered as many likely dental interview questions as I could and wrote out responses to each question. Writing helps condense rambling thoughts into a concise answer...it works for me anyway. As it turned out, 90% of the questions I had prepared for weren't even asked, but I felt much more confident during the interview knowing that I was prepared. Spend a little time on it and you'll do fine. Good luck!

Midwestern Chicago does MMI (multiple mini interview). You won't be asked the typical dental school interview questions. I was not asked a single question about dentistry. It is all situational questions. The questions are more about ethics and how you would approach a certain situation. You will be asked to address different cases and you will be given a set amount of time to answer each case before the timer expires. An example of a question at the interview was: is graffiti considered art or vandalism. PM me if you have questions.

What other questions did you come up with? I'm creating a list myself and would love some input! TY
