What are some ways to become better at timed writing assignments at interviews? I always did well in writing classes but putting together a writing by handwriting is hard for me and therefore I don't get into pharm school.

Also how did you prepare for the writing in the pcat?

Just have an internal sense of organization. Know all the components of the essay. 1) Intro ending with a thesis statement. (Answers the prompt). 2) Two examples. 3) Conclusion, reiterate the main points, and your final mature (developed) answer to the prompt. The hardest part are the examples, so make sure you can think those up quickly before writing. Once you have those, the essay should write itself. Ignore things like catchy zingers or some quote you don't really know. Don't try to impress beyond what feels natural.
