I’m struggling to answer the gap year secondary questions because I don’t have any plans other than working at the clinical job I’ve already written extensively about in other parts of my app (PS, most meaningful activity). I’m doing full time 12hr night shifts, so I don’t really have the energy or time to go pick up a new volunteering thing/research/hobby etc. I’m also currently doing 15 hours of group therapy per week to kick depression’s butt, but I obv can’t write about that 😭 lol. It seems like I should be doing multiple interesting things or writing something meaningful about my job, but I’m just working and I don’t really know what more I can say about it. Esp for one school that asks about my gap year and in a diff question to talk about my most important clinical exp, I have no clue how to write a whole essay without being repetitive. Do y’all have any advice on how best to frame this for my secondaries? thanks!!

I don't think any of the med schools would mind if you made your "what I am doing in my gap year" essay brief / or didn't use up all the character count.
List your job of course, say that it's night shift & what's different about that than a day job. How did you get used to sleeping in the day?
Are you learning to cook for yourself/ eat healthier?
