How well do you need to study the review books?

lets say for biochem review, i have been recommended to use Rapid Review biochemistry. does that mean i should have every single concept from the book memorized? ....what about all those crazy details from the book that i feel like they would never ask in the board exam?

same thing goes for other review books too...what about high yield books?
although i know that you should have the entire First Aid memorized...just trying to figure out if that applies to other books too.
