How worried should I be

Well I haven't received a single post-december interview and I received two rejection letters. I sent in my academic update where my grades did improve but they haven't completed processing my transcript yet. Should I just lose all hope now and reapply next cycle. I still have seven schools and I am wondering if I should call them to check my current condition. What should I do?

how many pre-december interviews did you get?

i think at this stage... it's pretty much done... even the private schools seem to already have invited people for march interviews...

It's really frustrating as i am in a similar situation, don't lose hope but also... don't get your hopes up

Give them a call and inquire. The worst thing they will do is give you vague answers. Always be prepared for the worst (ie, applying again next cycle in this case) but there is still time in the current cycle.

Which 7 other schools did you apply to? Your numbers are average across the board, so I wouldn't be too hard on yourself and don't ever give up hope.

when was your app sent in, and did you get any interviews at all before dec 1?

I havent heard anything yet, and only been rejected from midwestern..I applied to 15 total schools, gpa 3.42, 20/20/19 (aa/ts/pat) for DAT...

SO if you have got interviews at least thats something...😕

no I didn't get any pre-december interviews. The remaining seven schools are Stony Brook, NYU, Temple, Jersey, Buffalo, Tufts and Boston.I know the last three schools are accepting applicants on a later date but it is cutting it close and I have no interviews. Should I just give up know and make plans for the next cycle?

O yea my application was completed in September. I read some threads about people applying during my time. Either they have rejections or they were already accepted. In my case, I have no responses from any of the remaining schools and I am pretty much losing all hope into getting into dental school this cycle. Any advice on the whole waiting thing or should I just worry about applying the next cycle?

I submitted the app late July and finished my second DAT on sept.
two rejection letters from midwestern + UPenn, I didn't think i was gonna get any interviews and I started preparing my back up plan.
and yesterday I received an interview invitation from BU for march 5.
It's too early to lose ur hope!

Stay positive! I was losing hope also but last week things turned around for me. I submitted my app in late September and it didn't get mailed til October (!!!). I got invited to UW and UoP (but for UoP it's only for an alternate spot).

I also applied to some of the same schools you did - NYU rejected me Dec. 1st, and i'm still waiting on Tufts, Boston, etc. etc. you can look at my predents if you wish.
