How would you classify these courses on AMCAS application?

I'm a bit of ways out from applying, but I'd prefer not to classify them as BCPM due to grades received. How would you classify these? Do you think AMCAS would review these courses and reclassify them if I were to list them as Other?

ECON 400 - Introduction to Statistics and Econometrics

STOR 113 - Decision Models for Business & Economics

I don't think you can classify either as BCPM. They're economics/social sciences.

I can make an argument for ECON 400 as MATH, but if you label it BESS they probably would take your word for it. Worked with some of the course classifications I was on the fence about.

Thanks! The general consensus seems to be they are rather liberal in their course classification, as long as it's not totally out of left field. If anyone has any experience where they actually changed a course from AO to BCPM though I'd love to hear it.

My experience is they were fairly generous with course classifications. I was a Kinesiology major, and for AMCAS they do not count Kinesiology classes as BCPM generally, but I labeled several that were very physics/math or physiology heavy as BCPM and they accepted all of them.
