I promised myself I would never make a thread like this because its so generic and repetitive haha, but I've been grinding and I wanted to see how I match up and what I can improve on.
-cGPA:3.25
-sGPA: 2.97 (currently taking chem 2 and physics 1. Taking physics 2 & micro biol/retaking AP1 and precalc this fall)
-pCPA: 3.32
-GRE: 149, 150, 4 - will retake
-Extra curriculars: ISSA CPT and certified exercise therapy coach, VP of building council, mentor, youth lead for 2 churches, member of pre-pt and exercise science club, deans list, 3 jobs since I entered college, more I don't feel like listing
200+ hours from 3 locations (being a tech at 2 of them) with 2 more locations already planned for 50 hours
-LOR from 2 pts, 2 professors, 1 employer
-Not sure if it matters but I'm applying as a disadvantaged student and I don't believe my grades reflect my ability due to financial struggles and having to balance work and school to pay tuition
For my top school, I've been in contact with them since may, they know my face and its in state.
I plan on applying with 4 prereqs in progress which they're allowing because of COVID-19 and I'll apply early august so my sGPA can be above a 3.0 after my summer courses.
Still working on my essay but besides that, how do I match up? Like what can I work on/what would help me? Looking for brutally honest (yet encouraging) feedback, thanks!!
