How's your semester going?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm enjoying my 3-day schedule. 4-day weekend every week!!

Actually, due to Columbus Day, currently on a 5-day weekend.

I love Senior Year.
LOL same. I just have two classes and it took me 3 tries to find where one of my class was so..... you can see how much senioritis is in full effect.

Probably chillest courseload I've ever had, but also working way more than I ever have so it's been busy.

Honestly, despite this being the chillest courseload I think my marks will drop.... I lost all motivation to study after my DAT. My work habits have been terrible this term lmfao

Yeah I literally struggle to turn in the 2assigments I have due once a month

what are your assignments like? Papers?

I'm on a different strategy. I'm trying to get all the semester assignments knocked out ASAP.

Most of my classes do not have final exams (NONE have a cumulative final), so if I can finish these assignments early, I'll just chill the last 1-1.5 months of the semester.

No!! It's the webassign for math and all the assignments are due the last class day of the semester so I have no motivation to finish them but with my interviews I should finish ASAP cause I'll be running around with my head cut off when everything comes down on me at once loll gonna go do em today, I'm motivated today... rare occasion this semester.

But they do give occasional quizzes and hw
Omg lucky. Both my finals are on the same day and they're cumulative. 🙁:bookworm:

I took three online classes, and I have one in-person class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Plus I'm working less since I started classes. So this semester is pretty relaxed.

I procrastinate by traveling to interviews and worrying about my future plans...

I'm actually taking a D1 class (thanks to my masters program). I've got an exam Friday and just started studying for it yesterday 😱. I feel like I have so much to get done and not enough time to do any of it lol. Basically, my semester as of now is total chaos...could be worse though. PHENOMENALLY worse. Hopefully everyone else has it better 😳

I'm graduating a semester early in December, and this is the easiest course load I've ever had. I just have a few gen eds, my capstone (which is just writing a giant paper all semester), and my only "real" class, analytical chemistry. I"m honestly pretty bored too haha. I have absolutely no motivation. Oops.

Dang, where do you go that gets Columbus day off? I'm sitting here bored out of my mind in microbiology lab 🙁

Yeah my capstone is incredibly easy (psych major) so it's my little nap time.

I wish I applied to more schools so I could have more interviews. They were probably the most enjoyable days of the fall so far.

I don't regret saving that money though lol

I wish I would have applied to less schools like you did haha. Interviews have been enjoyable for sure, but honestly, I'm ready for this cycle to be done with already. It's both excited and stressful to be thinking about this stuff all the time.

*shudders* Micro lab.....oh man.
Good luck to you.

How many you had so far?

You know what's ironic? The schools I thought I had a good shot at haven't invited me for an interview. The schools I thought I had the least likely chance at have invited me for an interview. It's absolutely fascinating how this cycle is playing out.

Omggggg same. Schools I put as safety's haven't even said anything LOL

It somehow worked out for me that all of the schools I really wanted to check out gave me interviews. I should probably stop complaining, but it really is a lot to think about sometimes.

I've gone to two, and have four more in the next four weeks. It's about to get hectic. How about you?

Been hectic, 6 courses... And will be taking 7 courses next semester. Drowned in assignments, presentations, and midterms.

Drowning in coursework haha. I took all I really needed but left hard/time consuming majors courses. Sucks.

Maryland wants me to retake some expired pre-recs, so I'm knocking those out.

It feels weird being "that old guy".

I have strong grades right now, but as we pass the halfway point, I am losing ALL motivation. It doesn't help that this is my last semester. 🙄

I go to classes two days a week and tutor three days a week. My capstone class is by far my most stressful and that'll be done Thursday. Grades are strong this semester... I'm ready for December so I can graduate and hopefully know I am going to dental school!

This happened to me as well. I spent 3 months studying for my DAT and took the test two days before my fall quarter began. I lost all motivation to study and my grade in my Mol Bio class suffered.

For this quarter I am taking anthropology, a poli sci class, and a bio lab class. Also taking anatomy at a cc because my university doesn't offer it. I'm counting down the days till the quarter is over as it'll be my last.
