I have my physical tomorrow morning for the HPSP Army program was wondering if anyone had recently completed theirs and could provide some insight as to whats to be expected.

OP,

you start the day off with getting in line and do paperwork, take ur bloodpressure/beating per minute, then you move to vision (check if you have myopia, astgimatism or vision loss), then blood draw (check for HIV, transferrable illnesses), then urinalysis (you do it in front of a staff who, in my case, yells at me and I just couldnt do it and have to ask for a more gentle staff),then you have audio test (test for high frequency and low frequency, high pitch, low pitch, try to hold ur breath so you can concentrate on the sound since they are very very tiny), then you have a personal physical exam with a doc (where he checks ur ears (clean ur ear real well), ur behind, and basically notice anything abnormal about you), THEN, you will have a total physical exam (you do a lot of drills to see all of ur muscles work perfectly and u can maintain balance), then your height and weight get measure (if you are over weight, you get taped by neck and waist (big neck and thin waist bring down the body fat percentage (guys is 22% girls is 25% max allowed). THEN, you meet another doc to see if you have anything wrong and sign off your paper.

MEPS IS THEN DONE. if something else happens, u come back on another day.

whole process takes anywhere from 5 hours (if you are super lucky) to 8 hours (if you are not). Things are rough in there, people yell, high school students enlisting. So dont take anything personal and try your best to do what they ask.

Good luck.

EDIT: you can do the above activities in any order, not by order I list because there are different stations.
some cautions.
1. someone told me, to my disbelief, someone got disqualify because he masturbates before urinalysis and his urine shows high concentration of protein (which may be taken as this subject uses heroine/cocaine)
2. Don't ask Don't tell. When they ask you for anything, unless u have official hospital diagnosis before, dont tell them any symptoms you have. The more you tell, the worse you will do yourself. Basically tell them like ur a disease-free illness-free buffalo that is ready to go down on anything.
