So the U of Iowa's application is super easy, you self report scores and GPA and they give you an admission decision within 2 business days; all you need is the $40 application fee. It sounds really great right now because I'm looking at a 3 month wait from the rest of my colleges to see if I got in or not, so at least I would know I got into Iowa if all else fails lol!

Should I apply there or not?
 
Are you from Iowa? If so, yes! If not nahhh. just my opinion just off of what I read, too busy to search things up right now. Possibly later..

Surprised no one talked about Jay's verse! Kendrick got the hype because he actually had the guts to do what pretty much none of the guys he named would ever do, but Electronica is really underrated!

My Boy Jay E! Jay Electronica! Dude has some of the coldest lyrics in the game. He's really underrated. Mainly because he pretty much refuses to drop an album :laugh:

But if you listen to some of his stuff, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Started school today 👎

Working towards my early graduation though. I hope and pray i can graduate in December/January. 8 months off will be golden
 
This thread = Dead.

It's almost mid-term for me and I have a 74.484 in calculus and we have two quizzes left. I need at least a B on both.

Also I applied for a kennel technician position about 20 minutes away and I receive training Friday and start that Saturday. So pumped!
 
This thread will never die until graduation!

First AP Bio test, got an 85! Which I consider great because the highest grade in the class was a 91! Gonna be a rough year lol :scared:
 
I don't even want to talk about Calc right now.

I actually have a low A in calc and a high B in AP Bio. HOW?!?!

Anyways, this thread needs more action.
 
Oops. Already down to a 74% in Chem 151.. Lol. The first test killed me. Got a 71% because I missed 4 of the 12 multiple choice questions (3 pts each, stupid mistakes because I sped through reading the problems). Did alright on conversions and dimensional analysis problems though. Also got all my elements right.
 
Yeah, I just started school...
So many quizzes already. I have a crazy lab quiz tomorrow on this precipitate lab. I should probably be studying for that...but...senioritis 😛

I FAILED MY CALC QUIZ TODAY ~!

It was kind of expected because math in general sucks and my math teacher seemed pretty angry, eek. I have a test tomorrow and I plan on studying and do some practice problems until 9:30 p.m. He probably doesn't think I'll study, so when he questions my ways, I'll show him my packet of practice problems full of blood, sweat and tears.
 
What are you guys doing in calc?

We are on Global Min/max. We just finished derivatives and we didn't do so well! Retake on Monday! Time to study!

After a tedious beginning 5 weeks of school and a drought from the internet, I am back 😀

It's been rough at my camp. I had to push a lot in order to keep my graduate date in December. They didn't want to let me because they don't hold natural graduations in my district. But after a 3 week appeal followed by a very long paper work process, I have retained my right for a graduation date in December. And with that being said: I'm tired 😴

What's been up with everyone else??
 
Well,

- I failed my calc test on limits
- I came up with an awesome final essay topic AP lang
- I don't really want to go to Purdue anymore.
- I realized that small colleges/universities are my thing and decided that I wanted to apply to three schools not six
- I still don't have a job yet lol
- I have this strange crush on a teacher

Lovin' my life every day.

- I have 3 tests in 1 day, each of which are for AP classes
- I haven't even narrowed down ANY of my choices. Still got a nice lump sum of 10 and less than 2 months to apply.
- Haven't started on a single common application
- My grades may not get me into my favorite school
- I got fired from my newest job (somehow disappointing one customer is considered negligence)
- I had a 5 week battle just to graduate in Dec.
- I'm in over my head on school work
And to top it all off, My electronics have been seized by my parents. I can hardly find any time to get online anymore.

Buck up and hang in there man. It only gets harder from here on out 👎

Oh And please don't get me started on "crushes" 🙁 👎
 
F*** this week.

Monday had an economics test.
Tuesday (tonight at 7:35PM-10PM) I have a precalc test. 2 Essays due in English earlier today.
Wednesday (tomorrow morning at 8AM) I have a chem test and we can't just leave after finishing the exam because she wants to use our lab time for lecture...

I just got back from SAT prep and it wasn't all that bad... It was very chill and straight to the point.

How is everyone doing? Just checking up! Looks like everyone has been busy lately and no time for hSDN!
 
Our class took the Myers-Briggs personality test and it turns out I'm "The Mechanic," ISTP. I was surprised that logical thinking is one of our main characteristics, but I suck at those types of things, like math lol. I looked at possible careers that would fit ISTP and a surgeon was one of them. I'm not crazy about surgery, but I'll look into veterinary surgery.

Currently trying to finish 7 classes in one semester to ensure a December Graduation.

Working me to the edge. And I still have like 12 weeks to go
 
I have yet to study for the SAT on Oct 5th. Need to get going on that, too hard when there is GTA V ready to play in my room.....

Finally played the Battlefield 4 beta!

No homework due until Friday (and obviously next week) so I'm just working on college apps for now. UC applications opened up, got everything done except for the personal statement. Just started my CSU applications today also.
 
Is anyone else stalling to send in his or her application because its impossible to ever be 100% happy with an essay. Ugh... Editing forever..
 
Yeah! The essay is the only thing I have left, I am waiting on some people to help edit and give feedback!
