Has anyone put in any thought into any of the armed forces?

I am filling out the army application right now actually ha definitely not sure if I will do it or not but am just getting the application/physical out of the way now

Having someone pay for my school just sounds like too good of an opportunity to not at least find out everything I can about it

Where did you find the app, I checked the AF website and they said I had to speak with a recruiter, left him a message today.
I have been trying to find out exactly what is covered, what they pay you a month, and all that but all of their 'live chat people' are just copying the same stuff on their sites which is not as detailed.

If you are interested, I would suggest posting this in the Military Dentistry section and read through the Sticky's in that section. Very Helpful. If you are interested in Army dentistry, you should PM KMower, he really knows his stuff. FYI, I'm on the Army HPSP and so far so good.

Browse the military dental forum. Military dentistry is a great way to pay for school and provides experiences that you won't get anywhere else. Also, the opportunity for speciality training is much greater.

Right now the stipend should be up to $2,060 a month. They pay for 100% tuition, books, supplies, etc. Anything required by the school is covered. I can answer quite a few questions if you feel like PM'ing me or read through Military Dentistry.

I had two questions for you sfrice; what is your commitment once you're finished with DS school, and will you be relocating alot during that time or are you pretty stationary? Thanks.

It's 1 year of payback time for each year they pay for you, with a minimum of 2 years. Residency does not count towards a pay back year. Relocation depends on your branch of service.
