Some schools are strict and require specific electives in areas like: culture, sociology, and philosophy/religion. Other schools just want to see that you have x number of units in non-science/non-pre-req elective courses. Some schools don't even care which elective you took, as long as you have a degree.
Your best bet is to check each school's website. They usually have a FAQ area that might answer this specific question. Or, you can always email or call the school you're interested in applying to.
Without knowing anything about the courses you've already taken, I would say you should look at the pre-req requirements for the pharmacy schools you are interested in. Most all schools require speech and most schools require either sociology or psychology (some are very specific about which one). Many also want an economics course (if you haven't already had one).
