Just wanted to report that I finished step I today. I really cant give a great detailed description at what happened to me today, but here's a quick and dirty. By far the most common questions were path/pathophys. Next was unfortunately pharm. Lots of MOA/side effects...crap!!! I probably had 3-4 BS/epidemiology questions per block. Most are "what do you do/say next". I only had a couple of formulas...not bad, but did one wrong. As a DO student, the anatomy was pretty easy. I only remember a few embryo questions. I guess if you had looked at it you would have known them (crap again). Micro BUGS were no brainers. Immuno on the other hand...Quite a few biochem also (CRAP CRAP CRAP). When all the enzymes/rate limiting steps sound the same... Overall, to be honest, I think I passed (but not by much 👍 ) especially if you need like a 60%. Thats about my thoughts. Thats all I can think of now...Thanks to everyone that have helped on this board.

seeing these post-exam stories are great. i hope that we continue this throughout years 3 and 4, and help each other in the future... (i think i owe bigfrank a few Step 2 heads up ?'s) so will i be seeing everyone here in the Clin Rot forum next year, and back in USMLE forum for step 2??? 😕 uh oh, 😱 that means having to deal with the golden boy of SDN, idiopathic for another couple years!! atleast we got jalby aka the book eater (dude goes through books like godzilla goes through blondes) keeping it balanced (fair and balanced like fox!!)

ok, back to biochem... sorry if this made no sense, i'm a zombie at the moment! :meanie:

also sorry for all the faces, i went a bit overboard

I may have a shot if "between 60 and 70". I understood all of the questions...and figured out some of the questions on my own, but some of the stuff was like "WTF?". Anyway...back to relaxing!!!

I remember reading on the USMLE site that you need between 55 and 65 percent depending on how hard your version was deemed to be.
