My most recent MCAT scores went down 2 points. Last year I received a supplemental application from VCU but this year I did not. Do schools just take your most recent score or look at all of the more recent ones? Is VCU doing something different this time around?

VCU is in the process of screening and has not yet sent out their secondaries

Right...I checked their website and saw that they had decided not to pursue my file any further. Last year, though, I did receive one.????

Is it possible that what you're seeing is from last year? I didn't think they had put messages up like that for this year yet...

It could be your MCAT score specifically, or it could just be that they didn't see (from their perspectivce) any significant, positive change in your application from last year to this year.

If you didn't get in last year and they didn't see the change they would want in a reapplicant, it makes sense that they would not have your waste your time and money on a secondary.

Sorry to hear about it though. It's a crappy way to start the season.

Good luck this year! :luck:
