I am in second week of first year of medicine. It's OK I don't love it or hate it. I have always been interested in maths and I am thinking of going into computer science with data science. I live in Ireland btw. I think I would enjoy cs and data science more but I'm not sure if I will be able to get as good a job as medicine is a lot more stable as a career. I have to decide within 2 weeks if I want to switch and I am changing my mind every day. Does anyone know somebody who was in a similar position and how did it turn out? Advice?

A "good" job is one that you enjoy that pays you enough to live reasonably well on.

While medicine will probably pay more and be slightly more stable, computer science is also quite stable, pays well and is much more flexible. And if you know you'd enjoy it more, that probably makes it a "better" job for you.
