So, I decided to take an extended term lower level science (med terminology) class that runs for a year; it's a "finish at your pace" kind of class. It's primarily online based, but the final exam is a proctored exam.
I was hoping to blow through the class pretty quickly since I have a pretty solid science background, get my A+ and squeeze it onto my AADSAS application before applying. I wanted to turbo charge my GPA just a hair (about .02).
I'm pulling a 96% in the class and I'm almost done; only thing left is the final. The problem is, if I get anything less than a 95% on the final, my chance of getting an A+ (or a straight A) is slim!
The class is so easy, yet it seems like I'm getting knocked off on points for the most ridiculous reasons! I've fought the instructor on the points he docked off, and I was only successful in recovering ~40% of the points. I'm debating whether or not to take the final before June 03 😡
Instead of turbo boosting my GPA, this class could lead to a blown head gasket.
Moral of the story, watch out for "easy classes," you may be in for a surprise.
