hello all,
i just wanted to share my excitement that i finally got an inpatient pharm tech job!!!
i used to work at CVS as my first job ever almost 2 years ago for about a year and i just couldn't handle it- it really took a toll on my health and school, so i quit and never talked to anyone there ever again. I then took a break and focused on school- which i believed helped a lot bc i managed to do really well =) anyways, after i then tried to apply to so many hospital jobs as an intern or a tech and always got a rejection letter. I then got so desperate i applied back to CVS and walgreens too.
i then got a chance to interview with a hospital, and i actually got a call back! and what's better is that it's a per diem job which is what i'm looking for right now. I'm going into my 5th year of pharmacy school, in case anyone was wondering haha.
This whole message was a jumbled mess but i just wanna say don't give up looking and applying for jobs because something will work out eventually

Congrats, but internships aren’t real jobs. When you graduate and are looking for inpatient pharmacist jobs that is a whole different ballgame. Good luck...

Congratz man. Do you have any tips on inpatient pharmacy interview?
Thank you!
Well i've only had 2 interviews- but the ones i've had are laidback. I would recommend googling interview questions beforehand and practicing them. The two i've been to asked general questions such as when have you worked in a team, what are some strengths and weaknesses- questions like those. Just be relaxed and have something to say.

Congratulations.
Hope your tech job successfully transition to a pharmacist position for you.
