I FINALLY got an interview call from NYU!!

after losing every last oucne of hope i had to get an interview call from NYU ...today in the mail i get an urgent UPS from NYU and it's an interveiw call! i'm soooooo happy!...i mean i know i probably wont get in as it's wayyy to late..but just the fact that I have a 1 percent chance is much better than not having any chance at all!...i'm praying for prady, ajay, molaris, and anyone else that's waiting to hear postiive news from NYU just hang in there guys dont lose hope! miracles can happen even at the last second!

i'll be calliing NYU today to shcedule an interview hopefully for next thursday. I got my letter on the weekend so i couldnt' call them yet.
My scores are 84 part 1
300 Toefl
3.75 GPA

I called NYU yesterday and schedlued my interview...they weren't doing interviews next week so i got a date for monday the 16th..so i'll be flying to manhattan on the 14th. Should be a nice little trip 🙂 ...I talked to Ms. Knowles on the phone and she was very nice. She said she would be taking my interview personally and asked me what date and time would be good for me. So now thats done with, I can look over the NYU website and make sure im prepared for the interview...
Prady dont worry! listen if you havent gotten a rejection letter yet than that's good news! ...you should call them up again and they will tell you if a letter has been mailed to you or not...hang in there please🙂! kuch nay ho ta!!

hey man..congrats on the interview invite....that Ms. Amy knowles....she is quite a number...she's very perky and in a way may seem fake...but that is how she really is....be careful because she seems as if she would ask some off the wall questions....but don't fret...everything is just fine...she really is a nice person (its just her personality that will throw you off a little)...i'm sure you got a sense of how she is by the way she talks...be yourself...i don't think you need to knw much about the school because they tell you plent...hotels are super super expensive in NYC (look to spend 250-350 per night). Once you get there at 8 AM they will give you a supplemental application..don't worry if you don't remember everything....right after that...around 8:15 they will be calling people to go in for interview (don't be scared be yourself like i said before)....after that they will give you a nice long tour of the school. 1230 is when you should expect to be done...dress well (look sharp) no funky hair nor any earings if any....nice firm handshake eventhough she is female...look into eyes...be honest...comfortable....relax....and talk to her as if she were a little nobody who wants to get to know you a little better....good luck and I hope to see you 29 august

yeah she did seem a bit overly nice but that's all good as long as she stays that way!...she actually told me to come in at 10 am and not 8 as she would be conducting the interview personally. Well thanks for the help and good luck, i 'll be needing it!

A gentleman asked me if I had come down for an interview, took me up 10 floors and then, asked me to accompany him right through the door and started conducting my interview..that too at 7:30 [being punctual is not good! 😀]. I freaked out..and the rest, is history.
