Thats like working 1-2 days a week. I would ignore that guy though. Even though he might be Zpack in Opt forums, he looks down on people in his profession who does retail and on pharmacists as a whole.

I received two pairs for $98 and change, including shipping...and I have astigmatism, too. The lenses weren't that bad, either.
Well...one of three things will happen. The machines do all of our work and either A) we form a utopia B) we kill each other as there is no such thing as work anymore and we fight over resources post-apocalyptic war zone style...or...C)The machines start by doing all of our work and then realize they don't need us and kill us all.
"A" would be the grand Marxist vision. The other two pretty much suck. So...honestly...as technology gets to that point...we should all start becoming pinko commies...

on a serious note, how many pharmD's would be happy with making 60k/yr post-tax considering the amount of education, money and time invested?

Well, we do have an idiot trying to start **** for no reason. That'd be you. I hope you stick around. I find threads like this entertaining. Nothing like an optometrist of all things stomping around in the pharmacy forum like he's the god of the universe. It's like a sociological case study of sorts.

I haven't counted a pill since 2006 when I was in school. I could sink down to your level and insult your profession and say that all you do is fiddle with nobs all day to figure out random people's opth. prescription, but I actually have some perspective on other health sciences and know it isn't true. Also...because I'm not a troll. My God, there is someone below my level...everyone think about that for a second.
If it was a sweet job, sure. Depends.
after doing some background research on this gochi character (yes, i am spending way too much time on here today - in bed after a crazy saturday, ha) i realize why (s)he's so bitter about pharmacy...seems like they wanted to get into pharmacy school about 2 years ago but their GPA was too low (2.3 wasn't it gochi???)
THEN, he tried to fallback onto optometry (his words, not mine), assuming his crappy GPA would be able to get him a spot in one of those schools.
