Same here! Well not about the crashing the car part, lol

Congrats!

lol. i ask this question whenever someone got into UW. when did you guys submit your pharmcas, supplemental? when did you receive an interview notice? how long did it take UW adcom to make a decision regarding your acceptance? i am just curious since i haven't heard from UW... getting quite worried and disappointed...

I submitted my pharmcas and supplemental around the middle to end of December.

I received an interview notice on the 15th of February, and my interview was only ten days prior to be receiving my acceptance notice.

kitkat have you already interviewed? Are you from the Seattle area? I know UW gives preference to Washington State residents and to my knowledge they have not begun contacting out of staters yet.

I'm out-of-state for UW and was contacted by them for an interview just a week ago. It was the hardest thing to do but I turned it down 🙁. It would have cost over $1000 total to go! It would have been worth it since it was my 1st or 2nd top school on my list, but getting it after I flew to three other interviews (and got accepted to all three)...just not financially feasible for me 🙁. I'm extremely jealous of you guys since it is a great school, hehe, so congrats and good luck!!!

My timeframe is pretty close to soccergirl's; supplemental handed in on Dec 22nd, called for an interview on Feb 12th for Feb 14th [not much notice!], and yesterday morning I was on my way to mail out a $750 deposit for my second choice school when I decided to call the admissions office to check. *Very* glad I did!

how were you guys notified of your acceptance? phone, mail, email, etc.

I submitted everything the week of Jan 1st. I received an interview notice on Feb.12th and interviewed on the 23rd. I got an email yesterday saying that I was accepted.

I haven't heard from UW 🙁 I don't even know if ad com is considering my application at this point. I am out-of-state and submitted (snail-mailed) my application on the very possible day. lol. I really really really want to go to UW!!! *tear* If I didn't express myself clearly, I am emotionally attached to the UW pharmacy program. It is the perfect match for me 🙁 🙁 🙁

OMG I am so excited right now! I just learned that I got accepted into the University of Washington! My dream is coming true.

I just wanted to congratulate everyone whom got accepted to any school. As for me I am on the waiting list and waiting on Colorado University. I am dying to find out. I wish i was in your guys shoe😳.

If you mailed it out on the last day are you sure it arrived in their offices by the Jan 5th deadline?

kitkat06, Why are you so "emotionally attached" to UW? I go there right now and to be perfectly honest it's not that impressive. It's just another big state school neglecting their students while at the same time trying to get as much grant money as possible for research.

but the pharmacy program itself is quite small. was your comment one of the school in general?

KitKat06,

I actually was in your same boat. I postmarked it on Jan. 5th. So hopefully you'll find out soon.

I was then called for an interview on Feb 20th, interviewed on Feb 28th, and accepted (via email) on March 7th.

They stated during my interview they were only a third of the way through the interview process....
