I am a UCLA student, and I just found out that I have at least one acceptance to medical school next year...the one bad thing....I still have five more weeks of school left. Everyone elso on here is done, and I am going to be rotting away in school until the middle of June. I hate you quarter system!!!

I feel you on that one Doglover4ever, we here at the University of Washington are finishing up on the 9th. Graduation is on the 10th!!!! Another month to go!!!!

I tend to like the quarter system (I'm a crammer)

Only thing that sucks is you dont get your spring scores for a while. annoying when wanting to do the TMDSAS early...

Fellow quarter system victim here.

I graduate on June 16th, while all of my friends at other schools are graduating within the next few weeks.

I hate the quarter system in that I don't graduate until June 18th! But it does seem like I get to take a larger variety of classes (3 quarters of different classes vs 2 semesters of different classes). Especially now that I've been accepted, it makes it even more hard to focus on undergrad school during this last month. It'll be here soon enough though...

The quarter system isnt that bad.... I actually like it, its 10 weeks bang bang bang, 2-3 hour exams, 1 final, then you are done. Its especially nice when your professor sucks alot. I just dont like having to get out mid june.

Its all relative. Quarter system you end later but you also start later than the semester schools. Yea we also get a short Xmas break, but I think 2-3 weeks is adequate in terms of not getting too lazy for winter quarter.

I'm up north at UC Davis and totally enjoy the quarter system. Yea my friends over at Cal and where else are finishing classes right now, but I can definately echo what adiddas125 said. I like how we switch classes every 10 weeks. Forces me to keep on my toes and not get too lazy.

yeahh, we don't graduate till June 16th either.. It sucks my old highschool friends are all home now ..

I FEEL YOUR PAIN because I am in the same exact situation and I wannna have a longer summer before med school next year!!!!! But, stupid UCLA drags on and on and on until the middle of June...

I loved the quarter system. When my school switched it was just awful having that extra 5/6 weeks of class per term.

Man, my last quarter at UCLA was torture. I was carrying 24 units in order to graduate but I couldn't concentrate at all. My mantra "you've got you want, now don't **** it up." People in the library probably got tired of me muttering that.

I've got a love/hate relationship thing going on with the quarter system right now. We don't graduate for another month and then med school starts 7 weeks after that. It's cool for taking classes 10 weeks at a time, but the schedule sucks otherwise.
