When you are posting on the school specific forums that you got an interview PLEASE just post when you were complete!

I am getting so tired of seeing 'II!!!!' and that's it. Needless to say the next 5 comments are 'That's awesome... but when were you complete?'. Can you be courteous and just help other people out by allowing them to construct some kind of estimated app turnover time. It would be even better if you post your stats but mainly complete date.

Thanks.

Sharing complete date is not of much help. Sure, it may help you gauge how far along a school is in reading apps, but there is no guarantee that schools view apps in order of complete dates. In the Case Western thread, there was a poster who was complete 8/26 and got an II two days later, while many people complete much earlier have only heard silence from Case. Moral of the story: don't obsess over complete dates! Once you submit an app, all you can do is wait.

Very true.

A small benefit of sharing an approximate complete date when posting about an interview invite is stemming the tide of "Congrats--when were you complete?"

Why are you entitled to that information? People can put that if they want. Ask nicely and maybe they will tell you. There are no rules to those threads that say you have to share certain information in a certain way.
