So I know the end of September is way too late to apply in general, but I want to hear what you guys think. I applied two years ago, mostly to Florida schools, with a 36 MCAT and 3.5 GPA. I had a single interview with FSU and was waitlisted and eventually rejected due to lack of experience (basically zero extracurriculars besides a bunch of shadowing). I now have a couple hundred hours volunteering and working between two medical research companies and 120 hours of community service, done at a local hospital. I just received my new MCAT score of 522. Most schools I would apply to have a Dec. 1 deadline. If I were to submit my primary now, considering about a six week verification time, would I have any reasonable chance to get in?

It shouldn't take 6 weeks for verification at this point. It takes that long earlier on because so many people are trying to get verified at the same time. With those score and new experiences, which is improving directly on what they wanted to see from previous, I'd probably say you're go to go.

That's a great score congrats. I'm always a big fan of applying early with your strongest app, but if your a FL resident I definitely dont think its too late given how many IS schools you have.
