I'm currently going to Temple University as an undergraduate in Philly, PA. I was wondering if its worth going out of state for PT school? I really want to change locations for graduate school because honestly I'm tired of the Philly and so I don't know if I want to attend Temple again for the DPT. I was thinking of trying to apply to University of Illinois at Chicago, schools in california such as UCSF, UC at Long Beach and University of St. Augustine. If anyone has any more information about these schools can you inform me too. Is it worth it and would I even stand a chance if I applied to? Here are my stats:

Major: Kinesiology
Minor: Chinese
Overall GPA: 3.68
Pre-req GPA: 3.65
GRE's: Have not taken yet
Activities: Community service chair and external vice president for Temple Vietnamese Student Association. Community service, secretary, academic chair, and MGC representative for Delta Chi Psi Fraternity Inc., Volunteered for Boat People SOS helping newly immigrated Vietnamese. Worked with Be the Match to host a bone marrow drive/informational session.

Volunteer Hours: Vietnamese Outpatient Clinic - 15 hours.

I know my hours are short but its because I was pre-pharmacy for the 1st two years and then realized I hated it and liked PT more. So I have been taking pre-med/pre-pharm classes calc 1 & 2, organic chemistry, and will be taking calc-based physics and the upper division biology which was unfortunate since I had to take the weeding out bio 1 and survived with a B-.

I think it's always best to 'spread one's wings' and go to different universities/states as you earn new degrees. You for sure have competitive GPAs for USA. IDK about the other programs you listed. Check PTCAS for average admitted GPAs/GREs
