Are these certificates from Germany help me here?

NBDE1 is a must, you will not be able to apply to any program without it, NBDE2 is required from some school and it is highly recommended.
Your certificates from Germany will help you to get into an IDP.
You also will need the TOEFL test in order to apply.
Good luck.

Hi you have a good profile, take your part 1 before summer next year and apply to IDP program, you have good chances at IDP program.

Sorry, i have no idea abt Oral Surgery Speaciality training. Good luck on whtever u decide to pursue.

You might wanna check ADA website for more info.

I am gonna try to give you a quick idea:

1- You have two options in order to practice in the US: you can either goto a 2 year IDP and get a DDS from an accredited school ( you become a GP and can later apply to the OS graduate program) or you can try and apply straight to the OS graduate program (however you will still have a foreign degree and won't be eligible to get licensed in all states. Again Check ADA for more info. States such as Texas, Washington among others would allow you to get a license after the graduate program)

2-There are pros and cons to each options. You will have to study those and see what fits you better

3-Keep in mind that the OS graduate program is EXTREMALLY competitive. Even though you have a good profile it would still be hard for you to get in. You do need NDBE part I, GRE, TOEFL. You might have more chances of being accepted in a IDP.

If I were you I would take all the required exams (NBDE, TOEFL, GRE), prepare your ECE evaluation, recommendation letters, and next year apply to all options (IDP and OS)... See what you get!
Be prepared to spend a lot of money!!!

It sounds complicated but you just need to be organized. You have plenty of time.
Just make sure to learn all the details at ADA website under "licensure". There will be a link for international dentists.. Also take your time to visit the schools websites and learn more about the programs and requirements.
