Hola to everyone!!!

I'm doing a liberal arts program in a CC. Im starting sophomore year and have some questions.

I will be taking this fall: Physics 1, Biology 1, College Algebra and History 101 and I want to add another class. This are my choices ( Principles of human body, Principles of marketing or intro to dietetics) What you guys think?

also.. I took a intro to psychology class last semester and the professor said yes for a LOR! my question is.. is worth it?

Thanks for any inputs. (Sorry for any spelling mistakes, English is my 2nd language)

Get an Interfolio account and have the Psychology professor upload the letter onto it. That way you can hold onto it for a while.
Dental schools usually require 1-2 Bio/Phy/Chem professor LORs and 1 Dentist LOR.
That being said a CC Psychology LOR would eentually become the 4th LOR or even replaced by an employer, volunteer lead LOR.

Thank you so much for the information. What do you think about a marketing elective? Principle of marketing to be specific.

Anything that is not fundamentally Bio/Phy/Chem counts as a non-science. So Marketing and Psychology LORs are more similar than say Chemistry and Psychology LORs.

Principals of the Human Body will help you the most in dental school. Dietetics, unless you are just interested in the topic, really isn't something you will use in dental school or your practice at all. Marketing could be somewhat helpful if you plan to open your own practice, but the information will be so old by then, probably not all that useful.

The LOR from the psych prof, eh, nice to have as a back up but really won't be something dental schools will be looking for. I'd still get the letter and save it somehow because it might be useful for job applications or getting into a research program or something else down the road.
