This probably sounds stupid.. but...

I had an interview last week and the dean had to check syllabi for three classes for them to count as pre-requisites. I emailed the syllabi to Admissions the day after the interview, which was Tuesday.
I just received a response on Monday that they can be counted.

From their website, they said they make decisions on applicants every week.
Can I just assume that they made a positive decision on me and they looked at the syllabi after they have done so?
If they aren't going to accept me, the Dean wouldn't waste her time checking the syllabi, right???!?!?!!
I know that whoever's reading my post will say "we really don't know. we have to figure it out in December".

This is so stupid but now I just want to assume anything and everything.........

They were probably just checking to make sure the classes were rigorous enough to count. I know at my undergrad we offer several levels of introductory bio and the one for pre nursing doesn't fulfill med/dent/pa requirements. The admissions people probably read the syllabus and switched you from the autoreject pile to the potentially admit one. We have no idea if you're in and there is not point in worrying about it until December 3rd.

There is no way of knowing just hope for the best. You emailed them and it is just a courtesy to email you back letting you know of the status of your pre-reqs.

I had science classes they required but they wanted 8 semester of English. In addition, my school had a little different system for organic chemistry so the school also checked that thorough syllabus. Anyways..... arghhhhh the wait is killing me

Schools do that whenever a prerequisite course is questionable. For example, that can be when you are wanting to use a non English department course for the English requirement, or the course content isn't necessarily intuitive from the title of the course. Some schools do it for everybody offered an interview, some schools do it only for those who pay the enrollment deposit. If they are doing that now, I'm not sure if it means anything in terms of how your admissions decision will turn out.
