Hey everyone

So earlier this year I was put on RA probation (I am a resident assistant), because I lost the master release key (key that opens a lock, in which you can get a master key that opens all the rooms in the building). It was under some junk papers in a old watch box. And upon cleaning my room with a friend, it was accidentally thrown away. Unfortunately I found out too late. This was reported in and I had to write up myself and will be on RA probation till the end of the year (I'm still in the job, this just means that if I get another violation I will be retired from the position).

For further context, this occurred in my first two months as an RA. The thing that's really stressing me out is how much this will impact an ADCOMs decision in the future.

Thank you

Kiss your med school dreams goodbye. /s

(You'll be fine. The bit where you wrote yourself up gave me a chuckle)

Yea kinda sucked since I had to submit the form as the RA LOL. You sure I won't feel much of an impact?
Haha sorry if I'm being overly neurotic

You made an honest mistake, you acted maturely in reporting that mistake and you will learn and grow from it. That's all a medical school would expect in a case like this. It isn't like you used the master key to break into someone's office and steal the answer key for an exam.

I appreciate all of your inputs very much. Thank you.

This is both novel, but VERY trivial
