What is a typical day schedule for you in residency??

This really depends on which rotation you're at.

Right now I am on our dental school rotation where we run sedation and GA cases for the omfs/pedo/endo/perio/phobic clinics. Typical day right now is we start at about 6:30am and finish around 4pm with about 2 cases a day.

In the hospital your schedule is also very dependent on the rotation you're on as well. Usually over there you start at about 5:30am, and finish around 3pm-6pm. There are also overnight call shifts that you can be on as well.

whats the gpa, and class rank requirements for most programs? Do we need to take cbse or ADAT before applying?

Ive worked at two private practice peds clinics as a dental assistant and both clinics use dental anesthesiologists and they have to book them 6 months to a year in advance. The clinics were in Austin and Sugar Land, a suburb in Houston. The dentists told me the DAs charge 1k an hour so I'm sure they're doing great financially and the whole "niche" thing isn't really a problem, at least in Houston/Austin.
