If a secondary asks for job and hours worked, should you also add what you learned from the job?

The question is:

Did you work for compensation during college during the year or the summer? If so, what did you do? How many hours a week did you work? (300 words available)

It's for Columbia and provides space to write if you initially answer yes.

I am planning to write a job description and also the hours worked, but should I also add some lessons I learned from the job and what I got out of it?

It doesn't ask for you to to add the impact of the job. Answering an unasked question (aka, going off on a tangent) may not reflect well. But you could unobtrusively use the job description to highlight any particular traits the job required that you feel translate well into characteristics expected of a physician.
