Ok, well I'm not applying until the next application cycle, but I notice a lot of advice relates to picking the most appropriate schools. So, myself having a low gpa (slightly less then 3.0 at the moment) which schools would be good to consider? So far my list:

UMaryland (my state school)
UConn
BU
NYU
UPitt
UPenn
Temple
Nova
UOP

Anyone have suggestions on schools?!?

That's a pretty good list for your situation, yes.

Looks like you got all the bases covered: Your state school, private schools, and two "reach" schools (UConn and UPenn).

Go for it!

Correct me if Im wrong but UOP might be a pretty large reach..??

Not if the OP has rockin' DAT scores.

That list actually looks pretty good, and I'm fairly sure the OP would get 3-4 acceptances out of it, depending on DAT scores of course.
