To those schools that don't require a DO LOR, do they start reviewing once they receive all required things? How do I let them know that I will have an LOR in eventually so that theyll wait for it?

You could always send the letter as an update.

As far as reviewing your application, it's my understanding that your application will begin review when you are considered complete by that school, so yes, they could review your app without it.

its very school dependant. is that your only physician letter? or have you sent an MD one? for instance, at LMU DCOM your not considered complete UNTIL you have a DO letter (along with the others necessary) submitted. However, at UNE or Nova, they dont require one but suggest it, so if you submit an MD LoR then you could be considered complete until it gets there. Or for UMDNJ, they don't "require" a physician letter so you could be complete without an MD or DO lor (but I would highly suggest sending one. I would check the CIB or look through the emails of your secondary invites. you could also check the websites of the individual schools. Or, if you don't find the answer to your question there. just call. either way good luck!
