If you don't receive your CS score today, does it mean you failed?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
No... I did a search a couple days ago and I found posts by a couple people who had delayed score reporting but received passing results. Various theories were advanced to explain the delay, but I'm not sure anyone really knows. I've heard people say that the earlier you take it in the reporting period the more likely you are to receive results on the first day, but who really knows?

Good luck!!!!

If you took your test between August 26th and November 3rd, the earliest you can receive your scores is December 5th. The latest you can receive your score is January 2nd (2013). Scores are generated and released in chronological order, so since you took yours mid-October, you're probably roughly in the middle to end of that reporting date. Those that just got their scores this week probably took it late August or possibly September (a poster in another thread said they got their October 8th score back, so it looks like yours might not be too far off!).

So sit tight and you'll hopefully get good news soon!

Edited because another poster got their score back from October 8th.
Edited again because as gman pointed out, these are the score timetables for next year!

Dates above are for next year, but are pretty close.

Somewhere it states that most scores are reported in the first 3 weeks of the reporting block. If you took it later, you might not get it today. Don't think it has anything to do with possible pass/fail status.

Whoops! Didn't even notice that 😳
