Just wondering if those of you getting interviews have complete applications. Other than the Dean's Letter, are your applications complete as far as having all your letters of recommendation? 😕

Also, are you going by FREIDA to know how many letters to submit to each program? I'm so afraid of sending the dreaded "too many."

I'm waiting on one more letter that I know will be great and it's driving me BONKERS!!! 😱

Have a great day everyone! 😉

I've received interviews with one letter still missing, so you can definitely get invites with a somewhat incomplete file.

As for number of letters... definitely send 3, send a 4th if its going to be a good one. I don't think anyone will fault you for sending 4, but it seems like most places definitely require 3.

i have everything done on my app. i have 3 lor's and my dean's letter is actually already there, waiting to be downloaded on the first.

i think having everything in certainly helped. but, most program are still reviewing or haven't even begun yet, so i think you still have time to get stuff in.

I have no letters of recommendation in yet, unfortunately. But I do have some interviews, so it is possible.

My application is complete-- 3 interviews. The only application that wasn't complete was completed yesterday (last LoR uploaded by my school and DLed by the program-- no interview yet). As for how many LoR's, I first checked FREIDA and then the individual program websites to see if they had any requirements for who writes the letters (department head from your school, board certified ob/gyn, non-ob/gyn physician, house officer, etc).

ive been sorta disillusioned by the whole experience. ive submitted my application, but the only parts complete are my board scores and my personal statement. but im still getting lots of interviews, makes me think that all that really matters is step 1.

Is it bad to submit more letters than the program requires??
