II specific thread

I’ve been noticing that some people are using the school specific thread to socialize, for example asking if there’s a Trader Joe’s in Philly or advice for dropping a research position, so I’m making a thread specifically for when applicants receive an interview.

Starting from today on, when you get an II, please mention:
1) which school
2) date of secondary application completion (including LOR submission)
3) date and time of II
4) stats?

This is working harder not smarter, as you will need to a) still use control F to find school specific information on this thread and b) still need to visit the school specific threads to find school specific information, regardless of the minimal socializing that does in fact occur there. Thus, this is a redundant thread.

Let’s start of with this thread, and around mid August when most II start coming out we can work something out. This is also more convinient because it gives you a notification when someone responds

there's already a thread for this that someone else started
 
Can we also include what we ate for breakfast on the day we submitted our secondary? We also should include the degrees of separation we have from Kevin Bacon. That should help us narrow down these pesky admissions committees.

Or, we just roll with it and realize that stats and dates of secondaries are only a small part of the process. Someone may have mentioned how their cat's name is Chester, and the person who read that essay also had a cat named Chester, so they offered a II.

TLDR: No way to truly know why someone got a II.
 
Yeah it sucks to read some of the BS in those threads but its the best place for this stuff. If you made a general thread think about all the posts you will see about schools you didn’t even apply to.
