Hi all,

So Im applying for Fall '09 just wanted to see where everyone was at whose in the same situation, like if you've taken DAT or taken any steps to apply, I feel like May will be here before we know it!

Im a junior in college, this will be my first time applying, I have a 3.0 GPA (i know its not so great), i've been working for a dentist for 2 years so I've shadowed a lot and had some hands-on experience,I haven't taken DAT yet, im thinking early June.....Im applying for the Gateway to Dentistry program at UMDNJ which is the third week on May (extremely convenient 😳) hmmm thats about it.

Does anyone know the inital steps to applying? ASDA confuses me sometimes, I wanted to register but I don't think it's letting me.......so yea so far I've basically just been going to school working and trying to get things figured out......

AASDAS opens on May 15 2008 so you can't register for that yet.

First and foremost get your GPA up. If you doesn't improve significantly then plan on taking an extra year. Do well on the DAT.

follow blankguy's suggestion... you wanna get it up to about 3.4 and choose your schools carefully 😛, so you don't waste money
