I was a former CUNY Lehman College student and I decided to transfer cause I had problems with a faculty member. the problem was that I missed an exam due to me having a car accident on the way to the school. anyways, the professor decided to not give me a retake even after providing document proof and I was going to receive a C grade for missing the mid term. In the end I took a W... for the course.
so I decided to transfer to CUNY Hunter, but I'm not hearing promising things from the faculty either cause the chemistry department is always changing, but I would be going for free and still have money left from financial aid.
I have also applied to SUNY albany and I've heard good things about their faculty that could assure my admission to dental schools as I have higher chance of getting good grades by a good margin cause their chemistry department is stable with good staff. the downside is that I would have to take a Stanford loan to afford the dorms and stuff.
so I'm here wondering if I should take a chance at Hunter for free tuition school but take a chance at my grades, or go to SUNY Albany and assure my admission but take loans of up to 7k per year.
Thanks for taking time to read all of this.
My main goal is to get to dental school.
