I took the PCAT a couple years back but didn't too well on it and plan to take it again soon. The thing is that I took most of my pre-pharmacy courses (up until orgo I) a while ago--like 3-6 years ago --and am kind of unsure at how I can review and I guess relearn most if not all the material covered on the exam (especially bio, gen chem, org. chem, calc, etc.) in order to get a good score.

I've been looking at several threads and topics on the best materials to get and use in order to get a thorough review of the material and am even more confused than before and need help deciding which materials I should purchase. I did take the kaplan prep course before taking the exam the first time and still have the materials (Kaplan PCAT Science Review Notes and Math and Verbal Review Notes) and was wondering if these books would be enough to prepare for the exam?

If any of you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

I never seen the Kaplan's material, but I have heard from friends that Dr. Colin's material is good. Several friends who score in the 90s study pcat like this guy: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=754083

Hi there. I'm in the same situation as you. Although I haven't taken the PCAT before, it has been about 5 years since I took biology and chemistry courses. I plan on taking the PCAT in January. I bought the Dr Collins study guide and have been reviewing that and taking the exams that are included. For each of the exams (Dr. Collins), the topics that I were weak on, I would search the topic on the internet and read up on them. I also bought the Pearson practice tests and then you can see what type of questions are being asked and what areas are your weakest.
